getting your gmail account hacked it is
when you log into your account on a
public device and you forget to log out
of it the person whose device you are
using will be able to access your
account and make changes to it so if you
don’t want this to happen to you you
should always keep a check on the
devices on which your gmail account is
logged in and you can sign out of all
the devices that you are not using or
are unknown to you so i’m gonna show you
how to do that and let’s jump into the

all right to sign out of your gmail
account on all the other devices what
you have to do is you have to open the
gmail app on your mobile device
and if you are doing it on a laptop or
computer you have to just log into your
gmail account on a web browser and then
you have to follow the same steps
so here i’m gonna open my gmail account
and then you have to tap the profile
icon
and then tap manage your google account
now here you have to go to the security
section
and then you have to scroll down a bit
and you will see one section that says
your devices you are currently signed
into your google account on these
devices so what you have to do is you
have to press manage devices
and now here you will see all your
devices where you are currently signed
in so if you see any unknown device or
any new device that you do not recognize
you can simply sign out of it so
currently as you can see i my gmail
account is currently logged into four
devices and as you can see the last one
says inactive for 91 days so i can
simply sign out of it as it is of no use
for me now so you have to press this
these three dots right here and then you
have to tap sign out or you can also tap
don’t recognize this device all right
so again you have to tap sign out and
this will mean that this will remove
access to your google account from the
device so if you are signed in on any
unknown device this will sign you out of
it
so similarly you can sign out of
all the other devices that you want so
it’s written that some apps might still
have access so that’s another thing you
can tap manage app access to do that all
right to remove third party apps for now
i’m gonna press ok
similarly you can sign out of all the
devices that you want except the one
that you are currently using all right
so it is now showing where you have
signed out similarly i’m gonna sign out
of this device as well
so that’s how you can check the devices
on which your gmail account is currently
logged in and you can sign out of any
suspicious device or any device that is
not recognized by you all right that you
are not currently using even if it’s
your friend device or any public device
on which you were logged into your gmail
account so that’s how you can secure
your gmail account the first important
